Team camps for all sports

Since 2002, we have been organising training camps for teams at every level. The BEST Centre was built and founded by former Olympic Swimmers, therefore we fully understand the needs of both small social sports clubs, as well as those of national teams and Olympic Holding Camps.

We started with a blank sheet of paper on which we sketched out our idea of the ideal site for a training camp for sports teams. We searched for the perfect location to meet those needs. The BEST Centre in Colonia Sant Jordi is the result.

Who do we cater for?

Although the sport of swimming forms the foundation of the centre, we are now proud to regularly host triathlon, water polo, and synchronised swimming teams regularly. Our centre provides the facilities and surroundings crucial to allow athletes to focus solely on their training, regardless of their chosen sport.

For triathletes specifically, our surrounding areas provide the perfect training landscape. As well as private running trails ranging from 2-10km in length, the coastal roads enclosing the town provide a scenic riding route. Our staff are also happy to recommend a variety of riding routes and areas to explore during your visit. Whether you are an amateur triathlete, or international team, the BEST Centre is the perfect hub to discover Mallorca from.

What to expect

Booking a camp with the BEST Centre could not be simpler. As well as our fantastic sporting facilities situated on the Mediterranean coast, we have access to a whole host of established hotels within the small town of Colonia Sant Jordi. On arrival, we can also organise your transfers to the hotel, as well as provide useful advice for where to visit, shop and eat within the local area during your visit.

It’s very easy to understand why James and Matthew selected Colonia de Sant Jordi for their new training camp site. The pool is located in a small, picturesque coastal town and is a short walk from the hotel and the city centre on the harbor. It offers the best of both worlds with quiet shops, restaurants and beach areas within walking distance but does not include diversions and distractions that would detract from the camp purpose. The new pool is state of the art and the fact that the owners are former world class swimmers enables them to anticipate our needs in advance of our enquiries. All in all, it is an ideal training camp.

FAQs

How many airports does Mallorca have and what is the name of them?

We only have one- Palma de Mallorca, Son Sant Joan airport.

If we don’t book accommodation through you how much does it cost to hire a lane?

If you want to organise your own accommodation and book only land hire through us, it will cost 90€ per lane per hour.

Do we provide fins and snorkels in addition to pull buoys?

We have fins and snorkels for sale, and a number of pull buoys on pool side but we always recommend teams to bring some of their own.

Do we provide towels at BEST Centre?

We do not provide towel hire, however best centre towels are available for sale.
