Steffen and Markus Deibler arrived at the BEST Centre today with their club team Hamburg.
The brothers won 7 gold medals between them at the European short course championships in Eindhoven in November last year. Steffen won the 50 free, 50 and 100 fly, while Markus won the 100 and 200 M. They both won gold in the 4×50 medley relay.
Steffen is the world record holder short course for the 50 fly. We look forward to watching them train.
They will feel delighted to be sharing the same pool with the Krekel brothers from Frankfurt, Max and Henry, aged 11 and 9.
