Medals galore for Shangai team
Congratulations to the Shanghai section of the Chinese national swim team who competed amazingly at the Asian Games last week.
The squad, who trained for 3 weeks at the BEST Centre in preparation for the Asian Games, won a total of 5 medals. Ji Liping (pictured) won the 100m breaststroke clocking a very fast 1.06.9 to take the title in Guangzhou, China, while Jiang Hi Qi split 1.46.6 and 48.7 to win 2 gold medals in the mens relays. Sun Xiao Lei, meanwhile, swam a 1 second PB to finish 3rd in 54.4 in the 100 metres backstroke.
